Who says you are too old!!! Not your telomeres!!!

Vitality – Yahoo! News.

Having been through some blatant and perhaps not as blatant age discrimination issues while looking for employment it is refreshing to see stories like the one below.  The key to longevity of course…are good genes…but staying active and eating the right foods, getting enough rest and recovery, and having a good outlook on life are also very important!  Diana’s story is inspiring.  As obesity rates keep rising (even Colorado’s), healthcare costs go up, and our economy (as well as ourselves) struggle it is important to take care of one’s health.  You don’t have to run a marathon, climb Mount Everest, ride the Tour de France, or swim between Cuba and the Florida Keys to be fit, healthy, and improve your quality of life!!!!  A little goes a long way!  Your telomeres will thank you!
